Built-in function operands not valid. Reason code &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A CL variable was used for the start position, the length, or both on a built-in function. The values of the start position variable, the length variable, or the combination of start position and length specified on a CL built-in function are not valid for reason code &1 below:
1 - The value of the starting position is less than one.
2 - The value of the length is less than one.
3 - Both reasons 1 and 2.
4 - The combination of the values for starting position and length exceeded the length of CL variable &2 specified as the first operand of the built-in function.
Recovery . . . : Correct the errors and try the request again. You may have to contact the technical support person for this application to solve the problem.
