Cause . . . . . : The device must be varied off to be deleted.
Recovery . . . :
-- If a restore or install operation is being performed and this is the console device or the device being used by the operation, no recovery is necessary.
-- Vary the device off by using the VRYCFG command or wait until the device is not in use and try the command again.
