Cause . . . . . : The values of record length &6, block length &7, record block format *&8, and buffer offset &9 that were determined from the existing tape labels for file sequence number &10 label &5 on volume &3, differ from the values specified for file &1 in &2. The buffer offset values are determined from the file label if offset is present is in LABEL. If the buffer offset is *N, the offset is not valid because the file is EBCDIC.
Recovery . . . : If the label values are not acceptable, specify the correct RCDLEN, BLKLEN, RCDBLKFMT, and BUFOFSET values, and then try the command again.
