RCDBLKFMT *&7 not valid with code *&6 specified.

Cause . . . . . : For file &2 in &3, format as specified is not valid. For a file that must process nonlabeled tape volumes, the record block format *V or *VB are the only ones valid for an EBCDIC file, and the record block format *D or *DB are the only ones valid for an ASCII file. For labeled tape volumes, the correct record block format is assumed for the actual volume code.
Recovery . . . : Specify the correct RCDBLKFMT and CODE parameters on the Override Tape File (OVRTAPF) command, and then try the request again.
