Message : CPF4824
CANCEL command received for program device &4 in file &2, library &3.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A Systems Network Architecture (SNA) cancel (CANCEL) command was received from the retail controller program. The group of records (an SNA chain) that your program was receiving is now closed.
One of the following occurred:
-- The retail controller program found an error in the data it sent.
-- The retail controller program sent a CANCEL command for an unknown reason.
-- If your program is running in System/36 execution environment, the remote program could be taking normal recovery action in response to a negative response previously sent by your program.
Recovery . . . : The data your program received (within this group of records) was in error and should be discarded. Your program can send or receive.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
I -- Request is ignored.
C -- Request is canceled. Escape message CPF5104 is sent.
