Message : CPF5030
Partial damage on member &4.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : An auxiliary storage error caused some records to be lost because of partial damage on member &4 file &2 in library &3. Although the requested record cannot be read, other records in the file can still be read.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following:
-- If the file is a database file, choose one or more of the following recovery options:
1) Use the Copy File (CPYF) command to copy the physical file member's data from the member with the damaged records to a new physical file or member. All the data records from the physical file member, except the damaged data records, can be recovered.
2) Use the Delete File (DLTF) command to delete all dependent logical files and the physical file that has the damaged member. Then create the physical file again and all dependent logical files again using the Create Physical File (CRTPF) and Create Logical File (CRTLF) commands, or use the Restore Object (RSTOBJ) command to restore the physical file and all of its dependent logical files from your save media.
3) Use the Remove Member (RMVM) command to remove all dependent logical members and the damaged physical file member. Then add the physical file member to the file again and all dependent logical file members again using the Add Physical File Member (ADDPFM) and Add Logical File Member (ADDLFM) commands.
4) If the member is part of an IBM-supplied file, and is in library QSYS, install the operating system again and select the option to restore only language objects on the Specify Install Options display. See the Backup and Recovery Guide, SC41-8079, for the procedure for restoring the operating system again.
-- If the file is a save file, use the Delete File (DLTF) command to delete the save file and then use the Create Save File (CRTSAVF) command to create the save file again or restore the save file from your save media using the Restore Object (RSTOBJ) command.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- The request is canceled.
I -- The request is ignored.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error occurred on record format &6 member number &7. For a physical file, the member number is always one. For a logical file, the member number indicates which based-on physical file member contains the record that caused the error. For an online save file, the record format and member number are not meaningful.
