Error at beginning of tape on device &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Media error at beginning of volume.
Recovery . . . : Clean the tape path and heads. Then try again. If the error occurs again, move the beginning of the tape reflective marker two centimeters toward the end of the tape and specify VOL(*MOUNTED) CHECK(*NO) on the Initialize Tape (INZTAP) command. ERROR CODE -- &5.
