Request for commitment resource is not valid; reason code &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A request was made to perform function &6 against a commitment control resource, but the request is not valid. The following is a list of the reason codes and their meanings:
1 -- There are changes pending for the specified resource.
2 -- The specified resource is not under commitment control for the commitment definition which is being used by the program making the request.
3 -- Commitment control is not active for the job-level commitment definition nor the activation group in which the requesting program is running.
4 -- The journal associated with the specified resource is in use.
5 -- The DRDA resource is associated with one or more participants with which it may perform resynchronization.
The following is a list of the function codes and their meanings:
1 -- A request was made to remove the resource from the commitment definition.
3 -- A request was made to put the commitment definition into rollback required state.
Any other function code indicates that an internal system function was requested against the resource.
Recovery . . . : If the function code is for an internal system function, there is no recovery. Start problem analysis (ANZPRB command). Otherwise, the recovery is determined by the reason code:
The reason codes and their recovery follow:
1 -- If the specified resource has changes pending, perform a commit or rollback operation and submit the request again.
2 -- If the specified resource is not under commitment control, then verify the following and correct any application program errors.
- The resource identifier specified on this request must be the same value which was returned by the Add Commitment Resource API (QTNADDCR) when the resource was added.
- The program making the request for the specified resource must be running in the same activation group as the program which added the resource or both programs must be using the job level commitment definition.
3 -- If commitment control is not active, then start commitment control (STRCMTCTL) and use the Add Commitment Resource API (QTNADDCR) before submitting the request again.
4 -- Retry request again when the journal is available.
5 -- Start problem analysis (ANZPRB command).
