Undesirable connection attempt on line &23, adapter &40, port &42.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : This line has entered an undesirable configuration. The ring will remain operational, but it is an undesirable configuration due to how the cables are connected to the adapter.

Port type: &42
Neighbor port type: &44
Connect state: &43
See the technical description for data field values.
Recovery . . . : If this is a type A port connection, check to make sure that the remote port is either type B or M; or if this is a type B port connection, check to make sure that the remote port is either type A or M.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : There are certain valid configurations for the DDI adapter to connect to the ring. An A port connection may only attach to a B port or an M port. The B port may only attach to an A port or M port. An M port may not attach to another M port.
Port type values:
0 - A Type
1 - B Type
2 - S Type
3 - M Type
4 - None
Connect state values:
0 - Disabled
1 - Connecting
2 - Standby
3 - Active
The port index reported is: &41.
