Recovery . . . : Attempt to delete the directory and re-create it. If the directory resides in a user defined file system, the user defined file system will need to be mounted before the directory can be accessed for deletion.
Do not attempt to delete the directory if it is /QOpenSys or /dev/QASPxx, where xx is one of the valid Auxiliary Storage Pool (ASP) numbers on the system. Run the reclaim storage command (RCLSTG) to handle these directories.
If the deletion fails or if objects linked to the directory were lost, run the reclaim storage command. Reclaim storage will delete the directory and find objects that were linked to the directory. It will place found objects in the reclaim directory corresponding to the Auxiliary Storage Pool (ASP) that the objects exist on.
