Parameters must match modem settings.

Recovery . . . : When an ASCII display station is configured with a physical attachment (ATTACH parameter) of modem (*MODEM) or Post Telephone and Telegraph (*PTT), the display station configuration must match the modem settings for the following parameters:
-- Line speed (LINESPEED parameter)
-- Word length (WORDLEN parameter)
-- Type of parity (PARITY parameter)
-- Stop bits (STOPBITS parameter)
Verify that these configuration parameters are the same as the settings on the modems used to communicate with this display station.
