Message : CPI431D
Substitution characters can result from use of sort sequence table.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : &10 specified for item number &1 in specification type &2 was processed using sort sequence table in &3 type &4 in library &5 with a CCSID of &7, and the table contains substitution characters. If CCSID &7 does not match the sort sequence table's original CCSID of &6, then the table's CCSID was converted to the CCSID of the field for compatibility processing. Specification types are as follows:
1 -- Record selection.
2 -- Group by selection.
3 -- Join.
4 -- Ordering.
5 -- Grouping.
6 -- Derivation.
7 -- Distinct.
8 -- Set operator (UNION, EXCEPT, or INTERSECT). The derived field is &8 in query format &9.
Recovery . . . : No changes are necessary. However, if substitution characters must not be used in the above specification, do one of the following and try your request again:
-- Specify a sort sequence table that does not contain substitution characters.
-- If the specified sort sequence table's CCSID was converted and resulted in substitution characters, specify a table or a field with a different CCSID such that substitution characters are not required to make them compatible.
See the i5/OS globalization topic collection in the Programming category in the IBM i Information Center, http://www.ibm.com/systems/i/infocenter/, for more information on working with CCSIDs and substitution characters.
