Line &23 has failed.

Cause . . . . . : Line &23 failed due to an excessive number of unsuccessful inbound calls received. This may be caused if a switched Asynchronous line configured with auto answer (AUTOANSWER(*YES)) is varied on and the modem the line is attached to is configured to raise Data Set Ready (DSR) whenever the system raises Data Terminal Ready (DTR). The system interprets the modem raising DSR as indicating that an inbound call is being received. However, in this case, the modem is raising DSR before an inbound call is received.
Recovery . . . : If auto answer is required, change the modem configuration so that when the system raises DTR, the modem does not raise DSR until a call is actually received. Line &23 must be varied off and varied on again using the vary configuration (VRYCFG) command before it is used again.
If auto answer is not required; Vary off line &23 using the VRYCFG command. Use the the work with line description (WRKLIND) command and select the option to change the line to not have auto answer (AUTOANSWER(*NO)). Vary on line &23 using the VRYCFG command.
If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
