Device &25 failed. Maximum errors allowed exceeded.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The probable cause is a hardware problem.
Recovery . . . : Use the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command to vary device &24 off and then on again.
If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
You may have to replace the device.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22. The error code is &40: A device sent more than the maximum number of allowed errors.
