Cause . . . . . : One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- The frames may be lost or discarded because there is not enough buffer space.
-- The environment may be electrically noisy.
-- The ISDN line quality may be poor.
-- Contact problems with the ISDN cable connectors.
Recovery . . . : You may choose to ignore this message because your network interface is operational. If you are not satisfied with the operation of your communication equipment, study the planning guides for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. Check that the cable is securely connected to the appropriate receptacles and the cable is in good physical condition. Consult your local ISDN network provider to have the line tested to verify line quality. To reduce the frequency of reports, the THRESHOLD value in the CRTNWIISDN command can be changed.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The number of response time out errors detected over time has exceeded the threshold limit. This is either due to error frames being discarded or due to lack of temporary receive buffers locally such that frames have to be discarded when too many frames have been received within a short time. The response timer value may also be set too low such that there is insufficient time for the remote equipment to respond.
