Cause . . . . . : Pending changes are being rolled back while ending commitment definition &8 with logical unit of work identifier &11. There are &7 journals with a total of &4 record level changes. There are &5 object level changes. There are &6 API commitment resources. There are &2 protected and &3 unprotected remote resources. The reason codes and their meanings follow:
01 -- The commitment definition is in a state of Reset.
02 -- The commitment definition is in a state of Prepare In Progress.
03 -- The commitment definition is in a state of Prepared and the Action If Endjob commitment option is &13.
04 -- The commitment definition is in a state of Prepared and the Action If Endjob commitment option is &13. The rollback decision was received from the initiator of this logical unit of work.
05 -- The commitment definition is in a state of Last Agent Pending and the Action If Endjob commitment option is &13.
06 -- The commitment definition is in a state of Last Agent Pending and the Action If Endjob commitment option is &13. The rollback decision was received from the last agent.
07 -- The commitment definition is in a state of Rollback Required.
08 -- A forced rollback was interrupted by job end.
09 -- An activation-group level commitment definition is ending with pending changes during abnormal activation group end. An implicit rollback is performed.
10 -- The Action If Problems commitment option is Rollback. Display the job log (DSPJOBLOG command) and find message CPD83DC for an explanation of why Action If Problems was used.
11 -- The commitment definition is associated with an X/Open global transaction with a Transaction Branch State of prepared.
Recovery . . . : No recovery is required and the rollback is successful if this message is followed by CPF83E4. Recovery may be required if this message is followed by either CPD83DC or CPF835B. To avoid undesired rollbacks, use the COMMIT or ROLLBACK command before ending commitment control and end any protected conversations normally using the correct synchronization level. If there are API commitment resources or protected conversations, the roll back may take longer to complete than commitment definitions without these resources.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The commitment definition identifier is &6. The activation group number is &7. The lock space id is &16. The lock space associated space id is &17. The XID is &18. The Action if Problem had a value of &12. The Action if Endjob had a value of &13.
