Line &23 threshold information.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- Modems and automatic calling equipment may be turned off.
-- The modem may not be properly grounded.
-- The environment may be electrically noisy (very low probability).
Recovery . . . : Do one or more of the following:
-- Verify that the power to the modems is turned on.
-- Verify that the power to the automatic calling equipment is turned on.
-- Turn off or change the threshold function in the threshold (THRESHOLD) parameter on the CHGLINBSC command.
Refer to the IBM Systems Hardware Information Center Planning information for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. Consult the modem manufacturer to determine the proper grounding technique to use.
-- If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
Technical description . . . . . . . . : If this line description is configured for a V.25 bis modem, DIALCMD(*V25BIS), then the clear-to-send (CTS) signal did not operate correctly during the call establishment phase. This occurred often enough to cause the threshold to be exceeded.
If this line description is not configured for a V.25 bis modem, then this error indicates that the data-line-occupied (DLO) signal either has not been activated or has been dropped enough times to cause this threshold error. The DLO circuit is usually activated by the automatic call unit (ACU) as the result of the input/output adapter (IOA) activating call-request to the ACU.
