Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The following may have caused the problem:
-- Noise on the telephone line changed the data being received.
-- The remote communications equipment used an incorrect procedure, when sending transparent data on a binary synchronous communications (BSC) line.
Recovery . . . : If line noise is causing the problem, change the DTASTTRTY value in the CRTLINBSC to increase the retry limit, and retry your job. If the remote equipment is sending incorrect data, the remote equipment diagnostics should be run. Press F14 to check the local communications equipment, and to report the problem to your service representative.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The remote communications equipment used an incorrect procedure, when sending transparent data (binary data) on a BSC line. This was caused when a DLE (Data link escape) character was received and was not followed by a valid BSC control character.
