Cause . . . . . : One of the following may have caused your problem:
-- The environment may be electrically noisy.
-- Noise on the telephone line may be causing errors on the synchronous characters.
-- The remote device may be overloaded and is not responding within the synchronous time-out time limit.
-- The modem may not be properly grounded.
Recovery . . . : You may choose to ignore this message because your line is operational. Refer to the System Hardware Information Center Planning information for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. Consult the local telephone company to have the line tested to verify line quality. Verify the work load on the remote system. Consult the modem manufacturer to determine the proper grounding technique to use. The threshold function may be turned off or changed in the threshold (THRESHOLD) parameter on the CRTLINBSC command. To report the problem, start problem analysis (ANZPRB command).
Technical description . . . . . . . . : A synchronous character has not been received from the remote station. The counter for synchronous time-out errors reached the value specified in the THRESHOLD parameter of the CRTLINBSC command.
