Line &23 failed during insertion into the token-ring network

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The token-ring adapter detected a signal loss or frequency error during the insertion process into the token-ring network. The following may have caused the problem:
-- A faulty or excessively long cable in the token-ring network.
-- A poor connection between the token-ring adapter and the multiple station access unit (MSAU) or between the MSAU and the token-ring network.
-- The environment may be electrically noisy.
Recovery . . . : Press F14 to run problem analysis. This status information is returned because the token-ring adapter card has detected an absence of a receive signal or a frequency error on the token-ring network during insertion processing. If this problem persists, inspect token-ring network for poor cabling. Refer to the System Hardware Information Center Planning information for information about the electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. If possible, use a token-ring network manager to isolate the cause and source of the problem.
