Cause . . . . . : The following may have caused the problem:
-- A configuration mismatch may exist for the type of communications I/O processor card installed for port &28.
-- The Licensed Internal Code may not be working correctly.
Recovery . . . : For an asynchronous line, if there is a conflict between bits per character and parity, use the CHGLINASC command to change the PARITY or BITSCHAR values. Press F14 to run problem analysis.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : For an asynchronous line description, a conflict may exist between bits per character and parity values. If seven data bits per character was specified on the BITSCHAR parameter of the CRTLINASC command, the parity (PARITY parameter) must be odd (*ODD) or even (*EVEN). If eight data bits per character was specified, it may be necessary to specify no parity (*NONE) since communications I/O processors other than type 6130 cannot support parity (*ODD) or parity (*EVEN) along with eight bit characters. The other possible cause is that the Licensed Internal Code sent an incorrect command value to the I/O card Licensed Internal Code.
