Message : CPIB610
Changing the Coded Character Set ID (CCSID) may corrupt data.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Changes to the file are pending and not saved to disk. These changes were made using the current CCSID to translate the data from the job CCSID to the file CCSID. If the file CCSID is changed at this point, these changes will not be retranslated with the new CCSID, and may become corrupted.
Recovery . . . : If the changes are not affected by the translation (eg. only invariant characters were entered), then save the changes (F2) and use the Services screen (F15) to change the CCSID. Otherwise, cancel the changes (F12) and edit the file again to change the CCSID.
