Cause . . . . . : The COBOL program includes an ACCEPT or DISPLAY statement with a mnemonic of type DATA-AREA; however, an error occurred when accessing the data area. Refer to the previous messages for further information. Since the ACCEPT or DISPLAY statement did not include an ON EXCEPTION phrase, this message has been issued. Message issued at statement &1 of COBOL program &4 in program object &2 in library &3.
Recovery . . . : Either add an ON EXCEPTION phrase to the statement, or correct the problem indicated in the previous message.
