Cause . . . . . : A copy, move, or delete function has been specified on a scale line while column mode is active. In column mode, a format copy, move, or delete may be performed by copying, moving, or deleting an existing tab position on a scale line. An existing tab position must be specified on the copy, move, or delete operation by moving the cursor to the desired tab position and pressing the Enter key.
Recovery . . . : Include a tab position in the text to be copied, moved, or deleted.
