Message : OPT1305
Optical volume &1 is read only.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Optical volume &1 cannot be written to because it is physically or logically read only. Following are possible reasons why the volume is read only:
- The media type is physically read only. CD-ROM and DVD-ROM are examples of this type of media.
- The device does not support writing to the media. For example, 2X capacity WORM media cannot be written on in a 8X capacity drive.
- The directory structure of the volume cannot be updated because either there has been an error writing directory data, or writing to the directory is not supported. Further writing to the volume is not allowed without first reinitializing the volume.
- The volume is part of a reference image catalog (REFIMGCLG) loaded on a virtual optical device.
Recovery . . . : If the volume is physically read only or the media type is WORM, writing to the volume will not be allowed. Try the request to a volume that can be written on.
If the media type is DVD-RAM or Erasable the volume cannot be written on until it is reinitialized. If the volume data is no longer needed, reinitialize the volume using the Initialize Optical (INZOPT) CL command.
If the media type is DVD-RAM and the volume is part of a reference image catalog the volume cannot be written to or reinitialized.
