You cannot perform arithmetic operations on a real number and a pointer.

Cause . . . . . : You have attempted to use a real number as an offset to a pointer type, in an addition or a subtraction operation.
Recovery . . . : Use an integral type for the offset. Valid integral types are: char, signed and unsigned integer, and enum.
