Cause . . . . . : The cursor is on the function that is in error. You have specified a field or constant for this function that is not allowed.
The list of functions and the data types allowed for them are:
DATE -- Argument can be date, timestamp, single-byte character set (SBCS), double-byte character set (DBCS)-either, DBCS-open, or a numeric value between 1 and 3,652,059.
DAY, MONTH, YEAR -- Argument must be date, timestamp, or a value defined as packed decimal(8,0) or packed decimal(20,6).
DAYS -- Argument must be date, timestamp, SBCS, DBCS-either, or DBCS-open.
HOUR, MINUTE, SECOND -- Argument must be time, timestamp, or a value defined as packed decimal(6,0) or packed decimal(20,6).
MICROSECOND -- Argument must be timestamp, SBCS, DBCS-either, DBCS-open, or a value defined as packed decimal(20,6).
TIME -- Argument must be time, timestamp, SBCS, DBCS-either, or DBCS-open.
DIGITS -- Argument can be any numeric data type except float.
Recovery . . . : Use a field or constant of the correct data type for the function you have specified.
