Cause . . . . . : The copy data description specifications (DDS) function for externally described files is a DB2 for IBM i extension and is not supported by the &1 standard.
Recovery . . . : If compliance to the &1 standard is required, use a host variable not declared by copying DDS. Precompile the program again.
