AI_SOL_DIR - Solution Directory

Definition
The authorization object AI_SOL_DIR checks authorization for the Solution Manager Directory. You can manage your production system landscape and business processes for your solution, in the Solution Directory:
- the system components you use or the business processes and business process steps you want to monitor in Solution Monitoring.
- the contact persons for each session.
- the systems for which EarlyWatch Alert data is to be collected.
- the language in which the sessions are called.
- the graphical views of your systems and business processes you want to use in Solution Monitoring.
- the maintenance project you want to assign to the solution.
Defined fields
- SOLUTION: Solution ID
- ACTVT: Activity
- 02 Change: Create, Change, Delete elements
- 36 Extended maintenance: Change (Create, Delete) a maintenance project assignment; Activate, Deactivate Change Request functionality for structure elements; Check-out, Check-in structure elements.
The authorization object is in the roles:
SAP_SOLMAN_DIRECTORY_ADMIN
SAP_SOLMAN_DIRECTORY_EDIT
Further notes
If you have assigned maintenance projects to a solution, you must also assign one of the Collective Implementation Roles to the user, or at least an individual role for Project Administration.
If you want to edit Documents for business processes in the structure, in the Solution Directory, you must assign one of the Collective Implementation Roles, or at least an individual role for Document Management.
