CRM_MASS - Authorization object for Mass Change Procedure
CPI1466 during Backup General Material DataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Definition
This authorization object allows you to define:
- Contract or IP mass change templates that users are allowed to access
- Contract or IP mass change template types that users are allowed to access
- The types of mass change activities that are permitted on accessible templates
Defined fields
This authorization object consists of the following fields:
- MASSTMLTYP
Template types that can be accessed. A template type is an object that allows you to categorize templates:
- You identify template types by the template type ID.
- You can press F4 to display a list of available template types.
- You can enter "*" to specify all template types.
- MASSTMLID
Specific templates that can be accessed:
- You identify templates by the template ID.
- You can press F4 to search for templates.
- You can enter "*" to specify all templates
- ACTVT
Activities associated with this authorization object. Currently the following values are available:
- 01 - Create a new mass change template (Saving a new template in the database)
- 02 - Change a mass change template (Changing an existing template in the database)
- 16 - Execute a mass change procedure
- 43 - Change the status of a mass change template to "Released"
- 81 - Schedule background processing of a mass change procedure
- H1 - Change the status of a mass change template to "Obsolete"
- You can choose the Full Authorization buttion to specify all activities
System Behavior
Depending on the type of activity taking place and the type of mass change procedure involved, the system behaves in one of two ways:
- Executing the mass change procedure (online or background processing)
- If the mass change procedure used is the same as the loaded mass change template, the system checks each of the authorization fields to ensure that the user has the appropriate access.
- If the mass change procedure used is different than the loaded template (for example, if you modify the steps of a procedure, or if you create a freely-structured procedure), the system checks the assigned values of the ACTVT and the MASSTMLTYP fields. However, it overrides the value of the MASSTMLID field with a value of "*" (since the new procedure does not correspond with any existing template).
- Creating, changing, releasing or deacitvating a mass change template
- The system checks each of the authorization fields to ensure that the user has the appropriate access
Note
If a user has the authorization to execute a mass change procedure (ACTVT
field, value 16) or to schedule background processing of a mass change procedure (ACTVT field, value
81) but doesn't have the authorization to create or change a mass change template (ACTVT field, value
01 or 02), he or she can still create, change and execute mass change procedures, but is not permitted to save them as templates.
Note
No authorization is required to displaymass change templates.
