Definition

This authorization object is obsolete.

This authorization object is used by the BDT. It is used to assign authorizations for making field changes.

Notes

This authorization is optional. You do not need to assign this authorization if no particular field group needs to be protected and no authorizations were defined for field groups in Customizing.

Defined fields

The object contains the "Field Group" and "Activity" fields.

1. Field group
   You use this field to determine to which field groups the authorization applies.
2. Activity
   Here you determine which activities are permitted:

• 02 = Change

• 03 = Display

• * = All activities
