Easy Authorization Management for SAP

Definition

With this authorization object, you define which grants can be edited on the basis of the authorization group.

Note

This authorization is optional. You do not have to assign it if there is no master data requiring special protection.

Defined fields

Defined fields

The object consists of the fields "Activity" and "Authorization group":

• Activity

Here you define which activities are permitted.
Possible values:
01 = Create
02 = Change
03 = Display
* = All activities

• Authorization group
  Here you define the groups of grants for which the above activities are permitted.

Procedure

Proceed as follows if you want to use this authorization:

1. Define the authorization that you want to assign to selected users by listing the permitted authorization groups and the activities.
2. Assign this authorization using the corresponding profile.
3. Enter an authorization group in the business partner master data that requires special protection.
