Definition
With this authorization object you can define a change authorization for selected fields of a document. Only employees who have been assigned this authorization can change these fields.
Note
This authorization is optional. You therefore do not have to assign this authorization if there are no fields requiring special protection against changes.
A range of fields (such as amounts, partner, account) is protected against changes, and you cannot circumvent this situation simply by including fields in a special field group.
The content of a protected field is still visible to all users.
This authorization is not checked when a document is created or displayed.
This authorization applies to all company codes.
Defined fields
The object consists of the change group (field group) field.
Procedure
If you want to use the authorization assignment, make the following system settings: Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable -> Basic Functions -> Postings and Documents -> Basic Settings -> Define Authorizations for Field Group Changes.
