Definition

You can use this authorization object to define authorizations for individual field groups in the master agreement. You thereby specify which fields of the master agreement users are allowed to change and display.

Notes

This authorization is optional. You do not have to assign this authorization if you do not want to especially protect certain field groups.

Defined fields

The object comprises the fields Field Group and Activity.

• Field group
  Using this field, you determine to which field groups the authorization applies.

• Activity
  Using this field, you determine which of the following activities is allowed:

• 02 = Change

• 03 = Display

• * = All Activities

Procedure

If you wish to use this authorization, proceed as follows:

1. Determine the field groups of the fields you wish to protect.
2. Enter these field groups in Customizing for Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable under Basic Functions -> Provider Contract -> Define Field Groups for Authorization Check.
3. For the field groups, define the authorization you wish to issue to selected users.
4. Assign this authorization using the relevant profile.
