F_PSOB_ATT - PSCD Contract Object: Authorization Types

Definition
You can use the authorization object F_PSOB_ATT to define authorizations for any input fields in contract object processing. Depending on the field value, you define which contract objects can be edited or displayed. To do this define an authorization type in Customizing and define the names of the fields to be checked.
Notes
This authorization is optional. You do not have to assign the authorization if no master records need to be protected and therefore have not had an authorization type defined in Customizing.
A separate authorization "Contract Objects” is available for the field “Authorization Group: Authorization Group”
Defined fields
The object consists of the fields Activity, Authorization Type, Authorization value (Field 1) and Authorization value (Field 2).
- Activity
You determine which activities are allowed as follows:
- 01 = Create
- 02 = Change
- 03 = Display
- * = All Activities
- Authorization Type
You use this value to determine for which authorization type this authorization is valid.
- Authorization Value (Field 1)
You use this to determine the value for the first field in the table defined for the authorization type.
- Authorization Value (Field 2)
You use this to determine the value for the second field in the table defined for the authorization type.
Procedure
If you want to use this authorization, proceed as follows:
- Determine the fields using the authorizations that you want to assign.
- In Customizing, create the authorization types with the fields determined above.
- Define the authorization that you want to assign to selected employees by listing the authorization type fields and activities.
- Assign this authorization using the relevant profile.
