Definition
With this authorization object, you can configure the authorization check for revenue accounting contracts in Revenue Accounting. This authorization check is only for access performed from the Contract Management user interface.
For Change and Display
You can restrict the authorizations to display or change revenue accounting contracts against the company code and sales organization.
If both fields are present on the contract, the system performs authorization check against these fields. If any of the fields is not present on the contract, the system performs authorization check against the fields on the performance obligations included in that contract. If any performance obligation fails the authorization check, the authorization check on the entire contract fails.
For Create
The Create activity does not support authorization check against the company code and sales organization. Users with the Create activity permission can create revenue accounting contracts.
For Change Status
You can restrict the authorizations to change the status of performance obligations against the company code and sales organization. This authorization checks applies only to status changes performed from the Contract Management user interface. It does not apply to the status transitions that the system performs.
Defined fields
Activity (ACTVT)
You can define which activities are permitted:
- 01 = Create or generate
- 02 = Change
- 03 = Display
- A3 = Change status
Company Code (BUKRS)
The system performs authorization check for change and display access against the combination of company code on the contract. If the field is not present on the contract, the system uses the field on the performance obligations to perform authorization check.
Sales Organization (FARR_VKORG) is obsoleted.
