Easy Authorization Management for SAP

GHO_ALLOC - Authorization Object for OPM Activities

Definition

The authority is checked based on the activity number for GHO_ALLOCauthority object and the display/change/create authorizations for authority object for network object I_BEGRP.

For example, if you have authorization to display a network object and activity 1 is assigned, then you can display the allocation results. If you do not have display authorization, then results are not displayed. In the case of allocation results the authorization check is only for display whereas for allocation run create or change authorizations are checked.

1. For allocation pre-processing POWL

The OPM activity 1 along with create /change authority for network object is checked. Only if you have authorization to create/change and assigned the OPM activity 1, then you can create or change allocation pre-processing POWL.

1. For allocation PPN POWL

The OPM activity 6 along with create /change authority for network object is checked. Only if you have authorization to create/change and assigned the OPM activity OPM 6, then you can create or change the allocation PPN POWL.

1. For allocation POWL results

The OPM activity 1 along with display authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to display and assigned the OPM activity 1, then you can display the allocation POWL results.

1. For simulation

The OPM activity 8 along with create /change authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to create/change and assigned the OPM activity 8, then you can create or change simulation preparation.

1. For MRH

The OPM activity 7 along with display /change authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to display/change and assigned the OPM activity 7, then you can create or change MRH rules. At the initial point after entering data on the initial screen the above authorization is checked for all the objects in production network. If any object does not have the required authorization, it is removed from the list. Furthermore if you have only display authorization, the screens will be in read only mode, and if you have change authorization the screens will be in change mode. Only if you have authorization to display/change and assigned the OPM activity 7 the MRH button is enabled.

1. For allocation rules (production network, node, UoM, well completion override)

The OPM activity 2 along with display /change authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to display/change and assigned the OPM activity 2, then you can create or change allocation rules. At the initial point after entering data on the initial screen the above authorization is checked for all the objects in production network. If any object does not have the required authorization, it is removed from the list. Furthermore if you have only display authorization, the screens will be in read only mode, and if you have change authorization the screens will be in change mode.

1. For measurement capture for well test / PQ curve

The OPM activity 4 along with display /change authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to display/change and assigned the OPM activity 4, then you can create or change well test / PQ curve. . For measurement capture for chemical analysis the OPM activity 5 along with display /change authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to display/change and assigned the OPM activity 5, then you can create or change chemical analysis. For measurement capture of actual quantity, planned quantity and so on, the OPM activity 3 along with display /change authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to display/change and assigned the OPM activity 3, then you can create or change the other measurements. If for any object you do not have the required authorization, a message is displayed. Furthermore if you have only display authorization, the screens will be in read only mode, and if you have change authorization the screens will be in change mode.

1. For reset PPN

The OPM activity 9 along with create /change authority is checked. Only if you have authorization to create/change and assigned the OPM activity 9 the reset PPN button is enabled.
