Definition
You can use this authorization object to define authorizations for individual field groups during insurance object maintenance. This allows you to define what fields in insurance object maintenance can be displayed or maintained by a user.
This authorization is optional. You do not have to make an assignment if no field group in particular is to be protected, meaning that no field groups were defined for the authorization in Customizing.
Defined fields
The object consists of the "field group" and "activity" fields.
- Field group: This is where you determine the field groups that are to be used for the authorization.
- Activity: This is where you determine which activities are permitted.

03 = Display
* = All activities
If you want to use this authorization, proceed as follows:
- Determine the field groups for the fields that you especially want to protect.
- Define these field groups for authorization in Customizing.
- Define the authorization, which you want to assign to selected employees, for the field group.
- Assign this authorization using the appropriate profile.
