Definition
You can use this authorization object to restrict the update definition for information structures.
Defined fields
- Number of the application:
- A user may define the update of information structures for the applications that are noted here (e.g.: application 01= Sales)
- Name of the information structure:
- A user may define the update for the information structures that are noted here
- Update group for statistics updates:
- A user may define the update for the update groups noted here.
- Action:
- 01,,Create update definition
- 02,,Change update definition
- 03,,Display update definition
Example
A user may create, change, and display update definitions from all applications, all information structures, and all update groups. Relevant authorizations are:
- Application: *
- Info structure: *
- Update group: *
- Action: *
Another user may display update definitions only in Sales and Distribution for information structure "INFO1" and the update group "000001". In this case, the user has the folllowing relevant authorizations:
- Application: 01
- Info structure: INFO1
- Update group: 00001
- Action: 3
