Definition

You use this authorization to control which drug catalogs can be maintained.

i.s.h.med uses an internal catalog from which drugs can be selected for the creation of medication orders. This internal drug catalog can contain drugs from various external drug catalogs.

Typically, the administrator of the pharmacy has all rights for creating, changing, activating, and deactivating. These rights can be restricted for other employees.

The physician or care unit pharmacist only require display rights for the internal drug catalog (formulary).

Defined fields

• Catalog ID

• Activity, the following codes are particularly significant:

• 63 (activate): Function for activating an inactive drug

• H1 (deactivate): Function for deactivating an active drug

There is no separate activity for deleting, copying and assigning drugs; the “Change” activity is used here.
