Definition
This authorization object lets you restrict the access to institution-specific Customizing tables to those institutions for which the user has authorization.
This means that if entries are customized with different institutions, it is possible to grant the user authorization only for entries of a particular institution, or for several institutions. In such cases, only the entries with the institution(s) for which the user has authorization are listed.
