Definition

This object controls which Oil downstream transactions the user may access. The field values are identical to the transaction code.

All oil downstream authorizations within one specified auth.objects starts with O_OIx (x=oil area). These authorization objects are assigned to predefined (template) profiles called J_OIx* (x=oil area,*=generic).

• Oil customizing/table maintenance will be checked via authorization group, a part of the authorization object S_TABU_DIS of object class "Basis: Administration".
  The tables/views to be checked are assigned to one authorization group starting with OIx (x=oil area):

• OIx = customizing authoriz. group used for specified area

• OIxA = application authoriz. group used for specified area

• OIx0 - OIx7 = reserve f. customiz. auth. group f. specified area

• OIxB - OIxO = reserve f. applicat. auth. group f. specified area

• Number range maintenance authority check will be a part of authoriz. object S_NUMBER within object class "Basis - Central Functions".

Note

Oil downstream supports the profile generator functionality as oil release 1.0D
