Definition

Using this authorization object, you can control the authorizations for accessing the objects record, case (see PSRM terminology) , document and incoming post item.

During the authorization check, the system checks whether the user can execute an action for the object depending on whether they have authorization for the organizational assignment.

This authorization object is only checked if the check of the authorization object PS_RMPSORG does not allow this action.

Defined fields

• SPS_ID
  Element type ID of object

Using this field, you can define authorizations for different objects.

• RMPS_TYPE
  The type of object for the authorization check is dependent on the object.
  Using this field, you can define an authorization for a particular object (such as case).

• RMPS_ACT
  The activity for the authorization check is dependent on the object. The standard activities display and change are available for all objects.

Using this field, you can restrict authorizations to particular activities.

• RMPS_KEY

You can use the field key for authorization check (dynamic form) to assign authorizations which depend on attributes or other information.

The key for the authorization check is created dynamically in the Business Add In (BAdI) Implement Generation of Authorization Key if you use this BAdI.

• SCMG_LVL

Using the field authorization step, you can restrict the authorization to a particular attribute or object.

The authorization level is an optional attribute of record, document, and incoming post item. Cases always have this attribute.

• RMPS_AUTU

Using this field, you determine in which organizational unit the user can access an object. You assign an organizational object as a value which is assigned to an organizational unit in Customizing of Records and Case Management.
