Definition

Authorization object SM_SP_TOOL controls access to tools (reports, transactions, Web Dynpro applications) that are solely created to be used by SAP support employees for analysis purposes.

Objective of this authorization object is to prevent users from unintentionally using support tools and executing the functions contained in these tools.

Defined fields

SM_ALLOWED - Content of this field in an authorization defines whether access is allowed or forbidden

Possible values:

• 'X',,,,-,,Access allowed

• 'Space ',,-,,Access forbidden
