Definition

You use this authorization object to protect global default layouts of the ABAP List Viewer (ALV) report-specifically.

Defined fields

The authorization object contains the following fields:

• Activity (ACTVT)

• Report name (REPORT)

• Administration ID (HANDLE)

• Logical Group (LOG_GROUP)

To create, change, or set standard layouts as default, you must have stored the authorization for activity "Maintain (23)" in your user master record.

The report-specific parameters REPORT, HANDLE, LOG_GROUP can be determined, for example, using the authorization trace (transaction ST01).
