Definition

You use this authorization object to specify which activities are permitted when collecting personal data and reviewing the search results.

Defined fields

The following authorization fields can be maintained for this object:

• Activity
  Defines operations that a user can execute regarding an information collection process.

Possible values:

• 01: Create or generate (start an information retrieval process).

• 02: Change (adjust the results of an information retrieval process).

• 03: Display (display the results of an information retrieval process).

• 39: Check (check the status of an available information retrieval processes).

• 43: Release (release the results of an information retrieval process to the data subject).

• Purpose
  Defines purpose IDs for which an information retrieval can be triggered. In addition, users can only review search results if they have a role with the relevant purpose ID assigned.

Example

A user wants to search for and retrieve personal data of a specified data subject. For this, the following activities are required:

• 01: Create or generate (start an information retrieval process)

A different user now wants to check the status of any previously triggered retrieval process, review the results, adjust them and then provide these to the data subject.

For this, the following activities are required:

·,,02: Change (adjust the results of an information retrieval process)

·,,03: Display (display the results of an information retrieval process)

·,,39: Check (check the status of available information retrieval processes)

·,,43: Release (release the results of an information retrieval process to the data subject)

For all these activities, users can only work with the purpose IDs they have authorization for.
