Definition
With this authorization object, you can restrict working with Data Access Services.
Defined fields
The object includes a field S_SERV_ID that stands for the technical name of the Data Access Service.
The field ACTVT (activity) determines whether a user
- can create,,,,(activity =01)
- can change,,,,(activity = 02)
- can display ,,(activity = 03)
- can delete,,,,(activity =06)
- can execute,,(activity =16)
- can generate (which means can create a RFC-enabled function module for this) ,,(Activity =64) the Data Access Service with this technical name.
Note:
Technical name of generic Data Access Services have the structure !!
has the following attributes, among others:
- D for access to data
- U for determining parameters for the generation of URLs
stands for the technical name of the object ( for example the query)
In this way authorizations for generic Data Access Services can be suitably masked. For example, S_SERV_ID=!ELEMD_US*stands for all generic Data Access Services that are based on queries the technical name of which begins with US.
