TMC-TM: Topology Model

Definition

You can use this authorization object to control whether users of the technical monitoring cockpit are allowed to add, change, or remove systems from the system landscape monitored by the technical monitoring cockpit.

The authorization object resides in the component SAP_BASIS, in the package /STMC/RT_TM.

Defined fields

This authorization object contains the following fields and values:

  • S_TMC_TMST (TMC-TM: System Type): Authorizations restricted to the application server ABAP (value: APPLSYS), databases (value: DBMS), or hosts (value: HOST).
  • S_TMC_TMSS (TMC-TM: System Subtype): Authorizations restricted to the application server ABAP, specific databases, or operating systems.
Possible values are the following:
  • ABAP: Application Server ABAP

  • DB2: IBM Db2 for z/OS

  • DB6: IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

  • HDB: SAP HANA database

  • LINUXX86_64: Linux (64-bit)

  • MSS: Microsoft SQL Server

  • NTAMD64: Microsoft Windows

  • ORA: Oracle database

  • OS390_64: IBM z/OS

  • RS6000_64: AIX

  • SYB: SAP ASE

  • Activities: 01 Create, 02 Change, 03 Display, 06 Delete, 23 Maintain, 71 Analyze

Notes

You can use this authorization object in combination with authorization object S_TMC_DP.
