Definition

Authorization object S_TRANSLAT enables a user to:

• Access objects directly for translation in transaction SE63 Translation Editor

• Choose Goto -> Translation in the ABAP Workbench to access objects directly for translation from the development environment

Defined fields

Activity (ACTVT)

This enables you to determine whether a user is authorized to access the short text editor and long text editor.

Possible input values:

• 02 Change

Target language (TLANGUAGE)

This enables you to determine whether a user is authorized to translate into specific target languages or all target languages.

Possible input values:

• A two-character language key such as EN or DE to permit translation into specific languages only. For a list of possible two-character language keys, see field LAISO in table T002X.

• An asterisk (*) to permit translation into all languages.

Translation: text type name (TRANOBJ)

This field is obsolete.
