Definition
The transfer programs offers "Confirm" functions and also the possibility to suppress this. The "Confirm" buttons are offered which, if authorised, runs the program with the existing selection criteria. If the user is not authorised then the button will not be visible. This may be desirable out of performance or authorization grounds . However, it will not be possible to switch to the actual data transfer phase until a confirmation has been successfully carried out.
If the user does not have an authorisation associated with this object then the confirmation functions will not be suppressed.

You can test if you are authorized to use the confirm function with the activity
